I am visiting Portland in late March for 3 days, with a meat eater who doesn't have much patience for my vegan diet. It is overwhelming looking at all my vegan choices and having to make a decision of where I insist on us going. Any advice you have would be appreciated!

It depends on what kind of food you’re looking for, but here are some ideas. In our experience, vegans and non- alike have enjoyed these veg establishments: Portobello, Blossoming Lotus, and Natural Selection for dining; Dovetail, Sweetpea, and Back to Eden for baked goods; A.N.D Cafe for brunch, Canteen for juices/bowls, Bye and Bye/Sweet Hereafter for bars with food. You could also go to Mississippi Marketplace as Homegrown Smoker and Native Bowl are in a cart pod where you could each order your own things. Other veg carts you guys might like are Wolf & Bears (falafel) and Bombay Chaat House (Indian).
For mixed places, there are lots of establishments with vegan options, but some with a larger selection include Vita Cafe, Los Gorditos, Hungry Tiger Too, Departure, Sizzle Pie, Brass Tacks, Luc Lac, and Voodoo Doughnuts. Hope that helps and have a great trip!
